Eye Exams
Eye exams are performed by Dr Mary Vaughan. With more than 30 years providing eye exams, Dr Vaughan is a medical professional who has seen it all..
Many vision problems do not have obvious signs, which make it difficult for you to know there is an issue. Diagnosing issues early can help prevent lasting vision problems or even blindness. Routine eye exams are important to maintain your overall vision helath.
During the examination Dr Vaughan will ask about your history, including any medications you are taking, your work related environmental conditions and family history. If you are having any issues, this information will help diagnose the problem.
Same Day Glasses
Because we have an optical lab in-house, we are able to provide most single vision prescription glassses the same day, typically within 30 minutes. We have a stock of single vision polycarbonate lenses that include anti-reflection coatings.
Multi-focal lenses, such as bifocals, trifocals and progressive lenses are ordered from the optical lab and cut to fit your frame once the lenses are received.
Quickly getting you back to your daily life, not waiting around for glasses.

New Lenses in Your Existing Frame
Having an optical lab in our store allows us to put new prescription or sunglass lenses in your existing frame without having to send your frame out to the lab.
This is how it works:
1. Come in with a new prescription and the frame you want to use (new or old)
2. Sit with our optician to select which lenses will work best for you and get measurements.
3. Your lenses are ordered from the optical lab.
4. When your lenses come in, you return with your glasses and the new lenses are cut and installed, typically in about 30 minutes.
You are never without your glasses, and you can save money by not being forced to purchase new frames.

While there are many different styles of glasses, we are able to help repair most types of problems. If the rimless frame is no longer staying together very well, or the semi-rimless frame has a broken string that holds the lenses in, we can get those repaired in very short order.
